How Can I Help the Nancy Cole Women's Home?

How Can I Help the Nancy Cole Women's Home?

1. One-Time Contribution
Your one-time contribution to the construction project will be matched by the anonymous matching challenge grant up to $35,000.  We need your immediate help to finish the project prior to the dedication date of February 3, 2007.

2. Speaker in Your Church
We will come to your church to present the ministry and needs of the women's home, using a PowerPoint presentation from the missions trips.  All we ask is that the church receive an offering for the construction project.

3. Church or Group Offering
Ask your church or group (women's, men's, civic, social) to send a one-time donation for the construction project.  Again, it will be matched.

4. Participate in a Missions Trip
Plan to participate in one of the missions trips to Lima to minister at the women's home or organize a team from your church.  We will assist in the planning process.  The tentative dates for our trips for 2007 are January 27-February 4, 2007 (Dedication Trip) and the first full week of August.

5. Food Lion MVP Card Rebate
Send us your Food Lion MVP card number (all 16 digits), your name, phone number and email address.  Every time you use your MVP Card when you purchase groceries, Project Restoration will receive a rebate.  You can email this information to fishsign@hotmail.com or dalebaird@hotmail.com.

6. Used Ink Cartridges and Old Cell Phones
Send us your used printer ink cartridges and old cell phones to generate rebate donations for the project.

7. "Daughters of the King" Project
Adopt one of the equipment, appliance, supply or furniture projects for the new home.  Contact us for a list of needs and prices.  In most cases, it is best for you to raise the money so that the item can be purchased in Lima.  This includes kitchen supplies and appliances, bedroom furniture and accessories, chapel furniture and equipment, library books and computers, etc.

8. Adopt a Resident
You can personally support the home by adopting a resident and sending a monthly contribution of $25 or more.  We can furnish a profile of one of the residents for you to "adopt."

9. Monthly Church Budget Support
Encourage your church or auxiliary group to include the home in their annual missions budget through monthly support for the operation of the home.  This need will become even more pronounced as the new building opens with a significant increase in the number of residents.

10. Sponsor a Yard Sale
You and your friends could host a Yard Sale with the proceeds being donated to the ministry of the home.  Contact us for promotional material that you can distribute.

11. Christmas Tree Project
In lieu of giving gifts, make a donation to the home.  Contact us for gift cards ($5 each) to send to your friends and relatives notifying them of your donation and the purpose of the gift.

12. Prayer
Include Pastor Lilliam, the women of the home, and the ministries of the home on your daily prayer list.  Add them to the prayer list at your church.

Contact us if you have questions.  Donations can be mailed to:
